Loves books and cats

Best things in life: books, beaches, cats, chocolate, sunsets, sleep

Fifty Shades of Grey - E.L. James I give this one star but even though it is that bad I had to finish it just to see what happened. So the redeeming factor was that it had just enough suspense to keep reading. However, this is so badly written that I started cringing every time Ana tripped or bit her lip or referred to her inner goddess. Maybe it's the fact that I had just read Twilight and Bella exhibits almost exactly the same annoying traits, but it drove me crazy to read these same things about Ana over and over and over. Why are books so popular when the writing is so bad??? And of course, the sex is salacious enough but that didn't make it a good book, just a different than anything I typically read.
